103.5 KISS FM Listener To Compete In Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge on NBC

I remember reading an article about the Spartan Races in "Runner's World" a few months back and thinking to myself "I rather run 26.2 miles over and over again than do one of those." 

A few days later, Jennifer Hayes, one of our superstar KISS listeners won a prize during my show.  I knew she was in to the Spartan Races from her posts about them on Facebook and gave her major props for doing something I actually consider torture!  She's a single mom of 4, works full time and still finds time to train for these beastly races and she's gotten the incredible honor of being part of the network TV debut of Spartan Racing!

Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge is joining NBC's line-up.  The show features teams of five, two men, two women and an "eilte Spartan athlete" taking on a specially designed Spartan course that tests their physical and mental strength with fire, water and mud obstacles.  Teams have a chance to win $250,000. Jennifer's team appears in the episode that airs on June 30th.
