After watching the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards you either loved or hated it. From Miley Cyrus' barely-there, day-glo outfits to her odd skits as host, she certainly left room for the comments to flood social media. But on the flip side there were solid performances from the Weeknd, Pharrell, Tori Kelly and A$AP Rocky, among others.

The show started off strong as Nicki Minaj brought out Taylor Swift to prove that there isn't any bad blood between them. But The Pinkprint creator did find the time to call out Miley Cyrus during her Best Hip-Hop Video speech for her choice words in The New York Times last week. That was most definitely one of the jaw-dropping moments of the night. "What's good?" will never sound the same again.

Then there was the man of the hour, Kanye West, who received MTV's Video Vanguard Award. Instead of performing as artists have done before him, Yeezy went into a 13-minute speech and revealed his presidential bid for 2020. Plus he got a chance to enjoy himself (and give the crowd a few laughs) when he got up to dance while the Weeknd literally set the stage on fire.

When the show ended in a drag queen-filled vogueing extravaganza courtesy of Miley Cyrus, we're sure more than few viewers experienced the MTV VMAs like no other.

And because the internet has no chill, the hilarious jokes and memes poured in. Take a look at the reactions below.
