If you're looking for a new best friend, Boise is home to thirty pups ready to be your compawnion!

Due to the overwhelming floods in Louisiana, about thirty dogs from that area have been transported to the Treasure Valley in an effort to relieve overcrowding. Twenty one of the pups will stay in Boise, while the rest are heading to a shelter north of the Treasure Valley.

The Wyoming-based non-profit Dog Is My CoPilot is behind the dogs' relocation, and if you'd like to adopt one they'll be available that Idaho Humane Society later this month.
