36th Annual Greek Food Festival Is Here

The Greek food festival if back! I promise this is the one event that I always miss and wanted to make sure you could save packing a lunch.

The 36th Annual Greek Food Festival is back this Friday and Saturday downtown Boise. This is the event I'm always missing and wanted to make sure you knew the dates. The last thing you want is to pack a lunch to see everyone else's Instagram flooded with Greek Food photos.

Here's all the details and the weather looks ☀️☀️.

36th Annual Greek Food Festival

When: Friday and Saturday, June 2nd and 3rd, 2017.

Time: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. both days.

Where: St. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church | Corner of 27th & Bannock in Boise.

There will be live entertainment including live Greek music, dancers, Grecian Imports, Greek pastries, food to go and church tours.

Ala Carte Menu: Donation to attend is $2.00 and food tokens are available for food inside. Children under 12 free to attend.

SOUVLAKI - Marinated pork or chicken on a stick with Greek pilafi - Greek style rice.

GREEK GYROS - Gyro meat on pita with lettuce, tomato & housemade Tzatziki.

GREEK FALAFEL PITA - Vegeterian nuggets on Pita with lettuce, tomato & housemade Tzatziki.

PASTITSiO - Macaroni layered with cheese & meat.

SPANAKOPITA - Spinach & Feta cheese triangles wrapped in Philo Dough.

DOLMATHES - Stuffed Grape Leaves & Meat.

GREEK PILAFI - Greek Style Rice.

FASOLIA YAHNI - Green Beans cooked in Tomato Sauce & special spices.
