4 Years Ago…

Facebook memories surprised me with its post yesterday and it's so weird to think where I was four years ago!

This post was staring me right in the eyes yesterday.

Those were the bridesmaids dresses I was considering a few weeks after I got engaged during my Christmas vacation.  When you think of four years in terms of things like the number of years it took you to get your degree, the number of years in a presidential term, etc...it really doesn't seem all that long! But when I look back at the short amount of time I was engaged and the minimal effort I put into even starting to plan a wedding to now, I realize four years can seem like eons! Here's some of my big changes...

• Engaged to (insert many years of dating turmoil here) happily dating an amazing guy
• 2004 Chevy Cavalier to 2014 Mazda 3
• Apartment to nicer apartment with a pool and hot tub
• Grandma passed away
• Lost 20 pounds, got back to running after a three year hiatus and completed one full marathon and three more half marathons.
