The sign that sits at the entrance to Ft.Hood reads, "...Home of America's Armored Corps."  They protect and serve, but couldn't protect themselves on Wednesday.

Specialist Ivan Lopez opened fire killing 4 and wounding 14.  The gunman then fired his last fatal shot on himself according to CNN.

This yet another tragedy to strike our armed forces.  Back in 2009, another man opened fire on the same base killing 13.  Major Nidal Hasan was sentenced to death for that tragedy.

It's 10:36pm and I didn't receive any news alerts to my phone.  No phone calls came in tonight and no breaking news during "White House Down".  I was watching a movie about an attack on the White House wondering to myself how defenseless we would feel in that situation.  I turned the movie off and and to a news room with that blank podium we sometime see vacant with a caption that read, "Mass shooting at FT.Hood and 4 killed including 16 injured.  "Not again I thought!"  Ft.Hood is just hours from my hometown and my sister serves in the Army.  You're mind goes nuts.

God bless all those military Women, Men and all the families.  I was in the Navy and realize the families will take it harder than anyone of us.

I'll keep you posted with an updates.
