This is one of those Film Festivals that seems to pass me by each year. You know those events where you say, "OH! I didn't even hear about that!" Honestly speaking though would you REALLY have attended?

I feel like it's just a reaction but we're never gonna drop $1000 on a ticket. That's flight and hotel to Hawaii while I'm thinking about it. STOP! That's a dangerous and responsible way of thinking. That's why you can drop down to the $200 ticket and feel glamorous as Dwayne Johnson brushes by.

I'm thinking more about it and let's look at the experience you get for $1000.

What is this festival all about? Is it just for the celebrities? How does it work? The Sun Valley Film Festival brings together fans of film and festivals to unite them with the stars. This isn't just an industry event, but you might say it's intimate.

Gwyneth Paltrow will be one of the many celebrities in attendance including the recipient of the Vision Award.

The SVFF Vision Award pays tribute to an industry icon that has provided the keen insight, influence and initiative to fulfill their creative vision. We have already honored Clint Eastwood, Oliver Stone and Geena Davis and look forward to continuing this proud tradition at the SVFF 2018.

Sun Valley Is Our Close Neighbor

My #1 reason to visit the Sun Valley Film Festival is the location. It's about 2 h 45 m from Boise and that makes it easier to drive down without having to spend on lodging. You'll only need to worry about gas, food, and admission.

    Trust me! That's enough.

    Gwyneth Paltrow! Gwyneth Paltrow!

She might play Tony Stark's personal assistant and love interest but she's much more than that. Gwyneth an Academy Award winner, Golden Globe winner, and Emmy Award winner.

Paltrow will be speaking and be receiving the 2108 Vision Award.

    A Celebrities Getaway

Sun Valley has been forever known as a local spot where Hollywood's most elite frequent. You might even call it a "hotspot".

Visit the Sun Valley Film Festival and you might run into Oprah Winfrey, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, and more. This festival could have even more than that. There's no rush of paparazzi, it's a break from the city, and they love to hit the slopes.
