I LOVED warmer weather over Thanksgiving weekend and running Struttin' for Stuffin' in shorts...but now that December's almost here, I'm ready for a little snow so I have a reason to get cozy in front of the fireplace.

In fact, I'm so ready for it that I've had scenes of fireplaces crackling in mountain cabins as snow falls outside the window on our smart TV in the studio for the past two weeks. It's so peaceful, but nowhere as good as the real thing!

Meanwhile, snow has been falling on and off in McCall, just a short two hour drive north of the Treasure Valley, for a few weeks! If you're craving some time in a winter wonderland (and a stack of Pancake House pancakes) there's some really cozy cabins you can rent on a budget! Right now, the average stay of one night hotel in McCall is $138.   You can rent every single of the cabins at a lower rate through Air BnB!  Go ahead, take a look around - you know you want to!
