50,000 Trout Have Been Released

As of today, CJ strike which feeds the snake river has more fish in it, and by more I mean 50,000 more fish in it.

I love fishing and to see that 50,000 trout have been released into the snake river makes me giddy like a kid at christmas. Not going to lie I fished a little as a kid but never really into it, but when I moved to Idaho I really picked up the hobby and now I love it. Also I have a friend who live out right next to CJ Strike so this couldn't be happening at a more awesome time.

Idaho Power Biologist Ben Reingold said “These fish will provide a lot of opportunities for anglers this spring and summer...Our trout-stocking program is one way Idaho Power balances its operations with environmental stewardship.” They also said that all the trout have officially been released as of today.
