All signs are leading to YES! People are excited for this.. and if it's truly happening, Amazon could employ up to 3,000 people locally.

According to Boise Dev, there's a lot of evidence supporting this claim including:

"The Idaho Press first reported in June that a project called “PREDEV — Amazon BTS” had been filed for East Franklin Rd. and Star Rd. Reporter Erin Bamer methodically tracked down all the clues that back up the idea that this will, in fact, be an Amazon facility.

Initially, developers proposed an 857,357 square foot building, but an update in September grew the size of the project to more than 900,000 square feet in a taller building, increasing the height from 53 feet to 75 feet. The structure as proposed would be four stories in height. It would have  2,120 parking spaces, 255 truck trailer stalls and 25 bike spaces.

Project Bronco could employ up to 3,000 people.

In July, an architect told Nampa’s design review committee the project would “serve as a distribution center, mostly for smaller packages,” Bamer noted."

If this is all true, and Nampa is getting an Amazon distribution center, I'm all for it. The added jobs will be huge for our community. Another slice of my hometown in the Treasure Valley?! Yes please.
