Demi Lovato and this generation sends a strong message in new music video, "I Really Don't Care".  Video shot at L.A. Pride that has peeps talking.I've been watching the two specials on National Geographic exploring the 80's and 90's.  They labeled the 80's as the decade that made us.  It brought up a great question last night.  What will they say about the 2000's?  Was it the downfall of America or the rise of a nation after 9/11.  Will this be the decade of change?  Or, will it be called something like the transformation of America.  Will Demi's message in this video be something we're defined by?  Demi sends a very controversial message to some and common sense to others.

SIDENOTE:  Demi Lovato is on Disney and featured a pop version of "Let it Go" on the Frozen Soundtrack.

THIS is where the world will be and very soon.  Today's generation didn't grow up with their parents' perceptions.  THIS generation looks at people as individuals and not groups.  Demi takes a bold step here.  She's shooting a video from L.A. Pride.  This could turn some fans away and bring others closer.  It should be noted that Lovato is in tune with her demo and understands what they go through.  She's a huge advocate against bullying and that's a topic that touches the entire globe.  Watch the impact it's made on this contestants performance as Demi Lovato sits in a judge's seat during X-Factor.

That brings us to the new video and message.  Bullying isn't just getting picked on by the stereotypical high school jock.  That maybe in the movies, but it ISN'T in today's world.  Bullying is an umbrella of hate that is driving today's youth to death.  I think Demi Lovato is trying to spread the message that you really shouldn't care.  Don't let them break you down and tear you a part.  Be proud.  Be unique.  Be yourself.  Just say, "I really don't care."
