It's the most wonderful time of the year! March Madness is in full effect and April 1 kicks off Idaho Craft Beer Month all across the state!

If you're a drinker of beer or even just a lover of Boise, it's no secret that there's a pretty awesome locally brewed beer scene right here in the Treasure Valley and across the state.

It seems all over downtown and the city, local breweries are popping up and one of the most exciting things to me, is that these breweries are not only setting up shops but are getting their beers canned for in-store sale and on tap around bars and pubs.  I think that just that says a lot about the Boise's awesome local economy.

Idaho Craft Beer Month is here and this is a great opportunity to try beers that are brewed in our own neighborhoods.

According to an article written in the Idaho Statesman, in 2015 the number of barrels of Idaho brewed beer totaled 45,915.

I'll be keeping you posted on various events happening all over town this month, but check out the full Idaho Statesman article, HERE.
