Betty the Washwoman was featured in a calendar dressed in different costumes each month. The calendar was sold by Cucina di Paolo and any money made (if any) would be donated to the Idaho Foodbank.

Are you ready for the total so far? Cucina di Paolo donated $24,150 to the Idaho Foodbank on Tuesday.

This Christmas was all about Betty. Now 96,000 meals will be provided to those in need right here in the Treasure Valley.

Want one? There are still some left for just $20. Cucina di Paolo is at 1504 S. Vista Ave in Boise.

Betty has been a staple in  so many of our lives. We've been inviting a version of her into our homes for years.

Her mom bought that for her. Then I cried.

Do you have Betty the Washwoman at your house?
