I make my school pride no secret now that I'm back in Boise--I'm a Bishop Kelly Knight, through and through.  Some people may find it odd that I keep such pride and attachment with my high school.  I mean, after all...it's just a high school.  Bishop Kelly, however, is different.

A community enriched with tradition, BK strives to instill that loyalty in all who graduate from there.  The Knights' athletics are just one faucet of tradition. This past weekend, both Boys and Girls basketball took on Mtn. Home at BK. Once again, BK held their "silent Knight."

It goes like this--for the warm up and start of the game, all BK fans, both student section and parents remain silent.  On the 6th point that the Knights score, the crowd goes wild. It's an awesome tradition that keeps the adrenaline and anticipation up for our Knights while to the opponent, it can be quite intimidating.

The Idaho Statesman also covered the event-- you can see that, HERE.
