You may be hanging on to that "ex-boyfriend" box under your bed, but hundreds of people coughed up their memories of lost love for this unique exhibit!

I mean think about it most goodbyes come with some closure.  Graduation parties, funerals, divorce papers...but is there really a ritual to acknowledge the end of a dating relationship?  Nope, so you cling to the physical reminders of that relationship while you try to cope with it.  Next thing you know, you've got a box of mementos from your ex somewhere in a shoe box under your bed.  Sometimes getting rid of that stuff is the first step to letting go and moving on.

Enter the "Museum of Broken Relationships."  It was originally an exhibit created in Croatia that now travels the worry.  The exhibit is a collection of donated items that remind people of their exes.  Each item in the exhibit is accompanied by it's story of heartbreak and the items range from photos and letters to trinkets and toys.

The coolest part of the exhibit? HALF of the items you'll see in the display are items donated by people right here in the Treasure Valley, so who knows? You may see a gift you bought in there!

Want to check it out?  Boise's Museum Of Broken Relationships is open now at MING Studios through March 3rd.
