Their cover of Aerosmith's "Dream On" as the sun went down over Expo Idaho is still one of the most talked about Boise Music Festival moments of all time.

On Thursday morning, I went through my normal morning routine.  Alarm goes off.  I lay in bed for another fifteen minutes and scroll through everything I missed on social media overnight. When I got to Instagram I saw this post from my favorite band of all time, Of A Revolution (better known in the music world as OAR.)

My favorite band in the entire world and Train on the same stage?  I'd be so down to see that! But then I remembered, OAR hasn't been to the state of Idaho since long before I moved to Boise to join Kekeluv at 103.5 KISS FM. (Their last show here was in 2002 when the Knitting Factory was still called The Big Easy.) So I didn't have much hope that this tour would be coming through the Treasure Valley, but decided to click the link in OAR's bio anyway.

...and that's when I stopped breathing. Friday, July 13th, Nampa Idaho, Ford Idaho Center. It's really happening! I was so excited that I think I actually shook my boyfriend awake to tell him.  In that moment, I could've hugged Train for making all my concert dreams come true!  What you might not know about Train is that their head lighting engineer is from the Treasure Valley so it holds a special place in their hearts.  In fact, they rearranged their travel to a family reunion just to be here for Boise Music Festival.  Their Idaho show always has the most unique lighting effects on their tour!

This will be my 12th OAR concert and 4th Train concert.  If you love live music, artists that can literally sing their faces off and musicians that are masters of their instrument, you cannot miss this concert! Train has the first round of pre-sale tickets for their mailing list on Monday, January 23rd, followed by OAR's pre-sale on Tuesday, January 24th.  Tickets go on sale to the general public through the Idaho Center on Friday, January 27th at 10 a.m.

The guys will also be joined by Natasha Bedingfield.

::SQUEE:: I'm so excited for this show and can't wait to share the music that means so much to me with everyone in the Treasure Valley!
