Living in Boise, it's easy to get used to how nice of a community we have. I've never felt unsafe in this awesome town of ours. In fact, I don't even feel the need to lock up a bicycle if I'm riding around town. This has always been a place where I feel, people look out for one another.

Unfortunately for one Boise neighborhood, a series of burglaries have been happening from vehicles on the street. The trend has been going on for several months, residents say.

West Denton Street is where the crimes continue to happen. One resident, according to a report from KTVB even quotes a man sitting on his couch, who had a stranger open his front door.

Boise Police are urging everyone in the city to be aware and just do the basics-- take valuables out of your car, lock your doors, and be aware of your surroundings. Officers are always just one call away.
