It's getting SO CLOSE. Boise State football is nearly back--fall practice fires up this week and today we've got the first round of "major" polls being released just this morning.

Boise State? Yeah, they've got to be feeling pretty great about the expectations and being ranked #22. Just last week, they were selected as the unanimous favorite to bring home the Mountain West Conference championship for the Mountain Division. Now, they're in the preseason top 25 for the first time in 3 years. Does anybody else miss seeing Boise State climb up into the top 15? This could be the year we see that again.

Not far behind Boise State in the coaches poll is Oklahoma State--an opponent that Boise State is going to need to be ready for. They'll be on the road and up against a major national power house that ended last season with a big bowl victory.

Another notable team in the first coaches poll? Chris Petersen's Washington Huskies--and they're UP THERE coming in at #6
