We begged for earlier kickoff times and were given a day game. It can't get much better than this. The game will be a good match-up and we can start tailgating at 10 a.m. The problem: Tickets aren't selling well. There are still over 9,000 seats available.

The excitement has been building for football season after the rough winter, the flooding through spring and now the sweltering summer. We're all looking forward to fall. Add that to the fact that we're watching former Boise State football players Doug Martin and Jeremy McNichols on HBO's Hard Knocks and then we get news about the new Bronco fan experience this year. That's got to be PLENTY to sell out the stadium, right?

Nope.

The Blue holds just over 36,000 fans. We're at 26,000. Gather up your friends and family and get your tickets so we can fill that place on Saturday.

  • Bronco Walk: 11:15 a.m.
  • Kickoff: 1:45 p.m.

Ticket sales, in general, have dropped.

However, in an email sent to Bronco fans, Curt Apsey, the director of athletics talked about the experience of Bronco game day, the environment, the vibe, the people and the energy coming from us, as fans, and how it feeds the team.

Ticket sales gives us the ability to have home field advantage, gain funding for the program and recruit great players.

Also, fireworks. All the fireworks.

Tickets to the game can be found HERE. All you need to know is that we'll be tailgating at 10:00 a.m. After that, we just follow along. This week's color scheme is Tri-Color. Find your section and wear that color. Well, get your ticket first then find your section.
