It's crazy to think that college football season is nearly back.  Being in a town like Boise with a team like Boise State--you can certainly feel the energy in the air as it gets closer.  This year especially, there are polls showing the Broncos of Boise State more love than fans have seen in years and it's safe to say we're going into a pretty high pressure season.

Of course, intense games and massive crowds all come AFTER many Boise State fans' favorite part of the season: tailgating. As the program has grown, so too has the tailgate culture. Just announced this week is a new addition to the tailgating world over on Boise State's campus: the Ford Tailgate Zone. The university hopes that this new area will boost Boise State football into a FULL DAY experience and will be child/family friendly.

The university plans to have inflatables for kids, cross-promotion of other Boise State athletic teams, and many big screen TV's. It almost sounds like a small festival! This will be an area available to anyone--not just those with reserved tailgate spots.

The Ford Tailgate Zone will be ready and open on September 8th for the first home game of the season.
