Boise State Relay for Life This Friday

We got the opportunity to hang out with former Boise State Bronco Derrell Acrey yesterday and chat with him about the 2nd annual Boise State University Relay for Life going on this Friday at the Rec Center! It's a chance for you to join the students and raise money for cancer research.  Here's what you need to know!

Derrell, who's the event's MC, tells us that Relay For Life kicks off Friday night at 8:00 PM and the public is welcome to join BSU students as they walk laps through the night in support of the American Cancer Society's efforts of raising just money to find a cure, but of honoring survivors and raising awareness of how to reduce our cancer risk.

Right now close to 350 people are part of BSU's Relay and they've raised over $20,000!  If you'd like to contribute to their efforts check out their Relay for Life homepage!
