Boise State Women Close In On March Madness

It's march and that typically means you hear about rightly named "March Madness" all the time. Whether you're a basketball fan or not.

Especially this year, with Boise State men's basketball on a hot streak and the fact that Taco Bell Arena will be hosting a series of games early on in the tournament.

Can we talk about the team quietly making their way into the tournament, however? Boise State women's  basketball is on the fast track to the NCAA Women's Bracket as the top ranked seed in the Mountain West Conference.

Just like in the men's brackets, the champion of the Mountain West Conference gets a guaranteed birth into the tournament. The championship game for the conference? It's at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow and the lady Broncos are in the game. Their opponent? The University of Nevada--seeded 7th and a team they've managed to beat only one out of two times this season.

Here's to hoping the women can get themselves into the tournament of the year.
