The Boise State Women's Basketball team is headed to the big dance!  Last Friday, the women's team took on a tough Fresno State team in the Mountain West Conference Championship and came out with a commanding victory.  In fact, their defeat of Fresno State on Friday afternoon came as the third time the team defeated the Bulldogs. Having finished as the conference champions, the Lady Broncos have punched their ticket to the big dance.

The task at hand won't be easy, as the 13 seeded Boise State will be taking on the 4th seeded UCLA Bruins in Los Angeles.  The game will be played on March 18th.

This isn't the first time that the program has made it to the tournament. In fact, it's their fourth. Unfortunately, they're 0-3 in the big dance--this year, Boise State has something to prove.  For more on the matchup with UCLA and the Lady Broncos, click HERE.

The Boise State Men's Basketball team is also seeing some post-season play.  They didn't make the big dance, but they were selected to play in the National Invitation Tournament, also known as the NIT.

For the men, their first game will be played tomorrow on the road against the Utah Utes. This makes the 14th overall post-season appearance for the Broncos and the 4th under head coach Leon Rice's 7 years here in Boise.

Boise State men's overall record in the NIT is 3-4.

Of course, we'll keep you posed on any Bronco success in the coming days between both the mens and women's teams!
