For a lot of people, going backstage at a concert is towards the top of any bucket list. For an animal lover-- going behind the scenes at a Zoo may be ranked even higher.  Lucky for us here in the Treasure Valley, the Boise Zoo is now giving "backstage" access to some of the most popular animals living at the facility off of Myrtle in Boise.

Have you ever wanted to feed a giraffe? You can, now. Between Monday and Saturday's, if you're 2 years old or older, you may feed the giraffes at the Boise Zoo. Tickets are $25 per person and it's sure to be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

How about penguins? I've always thought they were adorable. I've never met one, though. Maybe it is time to change that.  Between Monday and Saturday at the Boise Zoo, you can get up close and personal with the resident penguins here in Boise.

Finally, let's talk about the giant Aldabra Tortoise at the zoo.  You can meet him, pet him, get up close and personal, and as tempting as it may be to ride him... you CAN'T do that!

These behind the scenes tours look awesome and if you want to check them out you can see all the details, HERE.
