No, not you. I'm saying that to myself.  WHY!? Because apparently today is National Fettuccini Alfredo Day and I and since I had no idea-- I had NO pasta. What a fail.

There's nothing I love more than a great alfredo sauce over noodles, spicy chicken, and some broccoli. I'm hungry just thinking about it. Well- in case you've got the same feeling in your stomach, too--here's a list of my very favorite spots to get some pasta (most importantly, fettuccini alfredo) in the Treasure Valley!

    1002 W Main Street

    I'm a sucker for downtown Boise dining, so this area favorite is a no-brainer! They even focus on using local ingredients!

    Cucina Di Paolo

    1504 S Vista Ave

    Locally owned, locally operated this "hole in the wall" spot is hardly a secret. Plot twist: their chicken pot pies are stellar.

    Luciano's

    Hands down, some of the finest pasta in Boise. It's been a place that growing up, all of my high school friends loved to hit on a Friday night or carbo-loading before a track meet. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
