Boise’s Inversion From Above the Clouds

Technically, an inversion is "a deviation from the normal change of an atmospheric property with altitude".

You've never seen one like this though.

This video was taken from Bogus Basin, high above the inversion, and the view is incredible. While we can't spot the sun from the ground, on top of Bogus it feels like you're flying.

The inversion is coming to an end, so the sun you see in the video will be hitting solid ground soon. Be damned S.A.D.!
