This may be one of the coolest concepts I've seen in a long time and it's happening right here in the Treasure Valley, at Boise State University.

A Boise State University professor who has been collecting books for nearly 50 years is retiring. Obviously as an educator, students and their success is very important to the professor-- Stan Steiner. In an effort to HELP students that both need and earn it, he's selling hundreds of books with all proceeds going towards scholarships.

Those that know Professor Stan Steiner know him as a total bookworm, or "The Bookman" as he is sometimes referred to.

The sale is taking place in the Simplot Ballroom inside of the Student Union Building at Boise State tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m.

Professor Steiner hopes that not only the money raised will make a difference, but that books sold will get into the hands of those who inspire our kids.
