Breaking the Guy Code

Everyone knows that there is girl code and there is guy code. It's one of those facts of life. You learn rules from the code as you age.

Like in girl code, girls always go to the bathroom in pairs at the bar. Simple rule everybody knows that. Or in guy code, when being the wingman never hit on the girl your friend is trying to go after. Those are rules people know off the bat.

Well, there seems to be an epidemic of guys breaking a certain code here in our building and its really starting to piss me off!!!!!!!

Most guys know this one and maybe some girls do, but this rule is sacred to me and recently guys in our building are tarnishing it. When a guy goes to the bathroom, whether it's to pee or poo, there should never ever ever be talking. Not even "How are you?" I'm there for one reason and one reason only,  TO DO MY BUSINESS. If you want to socialize, wait til we meet in the break room or you see me in the hallway. Don't tarnish the sanctity of the bathroom with social hour.

I mean, a few weeks ago, I was taking a leak and a co-worker walked in and pushed me as a joke. That's definitely a no-go. Don't touch me when I'm in the bathroom. Like who thinks that's a fun idea? What a stand-up guy he is!

I don't know how you guys or gals feel about this, but I am fed up with this. Bathroom time is not social time, nor is it a playground. I'm fed up with the guy code being broken and I'm going to take a stand.
