Celebrate Star Wars Day at the Boise Public Library!

Today is National Star Wars Day, and you can celebrate all things from a galaxy far far away right here in Boise.

Today at the Boise Public Library! (the ! is necessary because it's on the sign), you and the family can get down on some Star Wars arts and crafts. Want to feel like you're part of the action? The Library! will also have a virtual reality session in which you can pilot the Millennium Falcon fighting against Imperial forces.

Did you really think there could be a Star Wars Day celebration without a Chewbacca roar contest? Because the Library! has that too. To close out the night, the Library! will have a free screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. A heads up, if you haven't seen that one, it's a little darker and more violent than the rest of the Star Wars films. May want to use discretion when bringing the kids.
