A lot of people wondered how the Broadway Bridge construction would affect floating the river this year.  You'll find the answer in my video from my float down the river!

The Broadway Bridge project is ongoing throughout the rest of the summer and there are some new lane closures that will be in affect this weekend.  According to ITD lanes on Broadway Ave at University and Myrtle Street will be closed 24/7 Friday night thru Monday morning.  Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic through a least one lane remaining open in each direction. The Greenbelt detour at Myrtle and Broadway will also be shifted this weekend.  These traffic changes will allow crews to complete their first phase of paving.

The bridge is expected to be complete in early September and Boise State football season.

Check out these photos and video I snapped of the new bridge while floating the River on Sunday.
