Child Abuse Prevention Month Kicks Off With State Capitol Rally

Child Abuse Prevention Month is here! Join us and our friends from FACES for a rally to kick off April at the State Capitol!

During the month of April, 103.5 KISS FM helps spread the message "it shouldn't hurt to be a child" and dedicates 175 hours to spreading that message across the Treasure Valley during Live for 175.  This year our child abuse prevention broadcasts begins April 22nd, but we don't want to wait that long to start getting that important message out.

That's why we'll be joining some of our friends from FACES Family Justice Center and Ada County for their 2nd annual Idaho Child Abuse Prevention Rally today at noon.  The rally takes place on the stairs of the Idaho Capitol building and includes a speech from Ada County Prosecuting Attorney, Jan Bennetts.  Representative from the Capitol High Choir, Idaho Children's Trust Fund, Canyon County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, St. Luke's CARES, Idaho Network of children's Advocacy Centers, Nampa Family Justice Center and Protect Idaho Kids will also be there.
