Landing it's self somewhere between a cobbler and apple pie, this warm, gooey, sweet, cinnamon apple treat has been a favorite in the Heart household for generations!

In a 13x9 Pan

  • 8-10 apples, peeled and cut up
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Mix together and spread across the bottom of the pan.

In A Bowl

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 coup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 pound melted butter


  • Mix together and crumble over apples.
  • Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with warm with vanilla ice cream.

Helpful Hints

Don't put all the apple peels down the garbage disposal at once. I clogged mine up and the sink looks super gross this morning while I wait for maintenance to come fix it. And melt the butter in a pan, not in the microwave. Mine exploded out of the bowl and coated my microwave in butter. It smells like a movie theater, but was a pain to clean up!
