It's a new way of finding a date. Forget Tinder or Bumble or Match.com or whatever else you're using. Direct messaging people you don't really know and asking them on a date is the new thing. Or is it?

Chris has been struggling to get matches on Tinder that turn into a date. It's just not his thing. That's okay...for now.

The two of us check Instagram and Snapchat regularly so we get all of your messages (thank you so much - we live by those). I happened to be the one checking and Chris got asked out on TWO dates!

One date was through the Instagram direct messaging and the other was on the station Snapchat. Is this a thing?

Chris doesn't know about both of these yet. He probably will after reading this but I'm just curious...

Should one accept a direct message date request from someone they don't know? Would you?
