Dead Dogs And Cats Found Two Miles From Mountain Home

According to KTVB there were four dogs and one cat found dead about 2 1/2 miles outside of Mountain Home.  The first pair of dogs were discovered around 12:30 Monday afternoon and a few hours later two more dogs and one cat was discovered.

The Elmore County Sheriff Department is currently investigating and trying to figure out if these were intentional killings or death by some other type of means.  The dogs' owners have been notified and there does not seem to be any type of connection between these dogs.  Authorities do not know who the cat belonged to.

In the meantime, authorities are asking people to please keep their pets inside for safety precautions.
