If you missed out on running into Matthew McConaughey in Moscow earlier this week, don't worry.

Everyone else did too.

According to KIPN 14 News, the actor experienced some car trouble while driving through Moscow. He was helped by two locals who towed his car, treated him to lunch, all while having no idea who he was.

Problem is, none of that happened.

"KIPN 14 News" is not a real news station. This isn't some "fake news" joke, the station simply doesn't exist. The fake station's website even states that most stories are satire.

Also, it would've been impossible for McConaughey to be in Moscow, Idaho. He's currently filming near Africa. Can't be in two places at once, right?

Fake news! Sad!
