After a little over a month of being closed, Dirty Little Roddy's is re-opening their doors starting this week!

On December 6th of 2018, the owner of Dirty Little Roddy's, Ted Challenger, shared on the bar's Facebook page that for an unknown amount of time, the bar would need to be closed due to renovations upstairs, in China Blue. The post read:

Dirty Little Roddy's will be closed for the remainder of the construction in China Blue. To stay in line with OSHA Safety Guidelines no part of the entire 100 S. 6th St. building can be operating. We don't know exactly how long this process will take but we will be back up and running in 2019. Dirty Little Roddy's will be open before China Blue and when China Blue opens back up it will have a new look and feel as we will be renovating on top of the necessary construction to repair the roof. Bear with us during this period of construction. We hate it just as much as you do. We can't wait to see you all again, hopefully soon.

After a number of weeks with a relatively quiet 6th & Main on Friday and Saturday nights...the corner is about to shake again.   Roddy's will be open Thursday night for Hip Hop Night along with the usual Friday and Saturday night parties.

With some construction anticipated, Roddy's hopes to be open over the next few weeks before another quick stint of closure.  China Blue remains closed for remodel at this time.
