Disney Going Ham With Live Action Remakes
Disney's "The Jungle Book" is a critical darling, gaining praise from both fans and critics alike.
So does this mean Disney is planning a bunch more live action remakes? It sure does!
Thanks to the Marvel and Star Wars franchises, we know Disney does not shy away from cashing in on a winning formula. Which means we can look forward to a plethora of live action movies from the house of mouse in the next few years.
Here's all the live action flicks Disney has planned (that we know of):
- A Cruella DeVille origin story starring Emma Stone
- A sequel to "Mary Poppins" starring Emily Blunt
- "A Wrinkle In Time"
- "The Nutcracker And The Four Realms"
- Tim Burton's "Dumbo"
- A movie about Tinkerbell starring Reese Witherspoon
- A film based on Disney's Jungle Cruise starring The Rock
- "Beauty And The Beast" starring Emma Watson
Maybe it's just me, but is anyone else salty that there's not a "Rescuers" remake on tap? Hey, if they did it with the Chipmunks, they can sure as sugar do it with the Rescuers.
