Right now, LipSense is a huge thing. Rodan + Fields grew to be popular quickly and new products are popping up all the time. Can one actually make money doing this? Alexis asks for help for Group Therapy Thursday.

I work a full-time job where I have benefits, a 9-5 schedule and I never work weekends. It's an awesome schedule but I make no extra money on top of my salary. Since I talk about wanting to make more money, my friends are always telling me to start selling a product I believe in. I've been all about the new lip stuff but I don't know if it's even worth my time. Is this a strange thing to ask you to talk about for Group Therapy Thursday? I want to know if anyone makes a significant amount of money selling something like the lip stuff or the leggings people talk about on Facebook. Do you know what I mean? If it's an extra $200 a month, it's not worth it for me. If it's an extra $1,000 then I'm interested.

Thank you!

If you or someone you know sells leggings, skincare, lip products or even weight loss products, we would love to hear from you.

I have a friend (a close one) who sells skincare products and earns a healthy living would say that it's possible. She drives a white Lexus SUV to prove it. Although, my friend puts in some serious time and effort when it comes to gaining people to sell under her and then people under them. Once you develop a good "line" people start making money. The struggle: Every time she calls or writes to me, I think she's going to try to sell me on something. However, she has proven that it works and I don't hate her for it. I admire her and am a bit envious.

Is she the only one?
