You know, sometimes you just have to shake your head when you hear stories like this. We all know about the tragic stabbing that took place at the Wylie Street Apartments a few weeks ago. Even in that tragedy which ended up taking the life of 3-year-old Ruya Kadir Boise and surrounding areas pulled together to show support. One such business was Boise Crossfit in Garden City. The gym hosted an event called WOD for Wylie Street (Workout Of The Day) which raised funds for victims of the stabbing. Unfortunately, the donation box was stolen before the conclusion of the event.

Police are investigating the reported theft of donation money from a charity event at Boise Crossfit in Garden City.
The event, dubbed "WOD for Wylie Street," was a benefit for the victims of the June 30 stabbing at the Wylie Street Station apartments. The workout was princess-themed, in honor of 3-year-old Ruya Kadir, who died two days after being stabbed at her birthday party.

Garden City Police are looking for anyone with information about the theft to reach out and contact the department at (208) 472-2950
