Downtown Could Face Traffic Changes

One way streets could be no more in downtown Boise!  According to the Idaho Statesman, the idea of making some of downtowns one way streets, two-way is quite popular amongst Boise City Hall.

Apparently, one way streets are designed to move people along and two-way streets are meant to encourage more time spent in an area.  The city believes that introducing these two-way streets could encourage people to bike or commute downtown.

The streets being considered for conversion are 5th and 6th streets, right downtown.
