If there's one thing we know about the Vandals from hanging with them at our University of Idaho vs LSU watch party is they like to party.  That's why they led the charge fighting for alcohol at their home football games.

Unfortunately, that request was denied when the state education board split their votes 4-4.  Without a majority vote, the proposal to allow possession and consumption of alcohol in parking on campus died on Thursday.

A State Board of Education spokesperson told KTVB, the members that voted no did so to help protect the students that families entrust to their campus environment.  The decision impacts Boise State, U of I and Idaho State.

A Boise State Spokesman told the news outlet that this will have no affect on the 10 to 10 zone were fans can drink between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. He went on to say, this hasn't changed any of the current rules for tailgating so Bronco fans can expect to see the rules enforced the same as in years past.
