Ellen’s App Saves Caldwell Man’s Life

We love Ellen's word game "Heads Up" but Ferris Lynn has got to love it more than we do.

Ferris, who lives in Caldwell, and his son Spencer were on Ellen's show yesterday to tell the hostess how her game saved Ferris's life.  The family was playing the word guessing game when Ferris started struggling with simple words.  The family decided to take him to the ER where they diagnosed him with a stroke.

Ellen invited the family onto the show to tell their story and surprised Ferris and his fiance with a 7 night stay at the Thompson Playa del Carmen in Mexico as a wedding gift.
