Additional Information

Do you love computer programming? Then, we may have an event for you!

This event involves a group of people getting together to engage in collaborative computer programming. It is the Boise Code School Hackathon!

Big hackathons, like the kind you might find in the Bay area, attract hundreds to thousands of teams and typically last around 72 hours.

This event will last through Friday night and into Saturday morning, but participants can come and go as they please in that tme.

Due to the collaborative nature of the event, many different skillsets are valued -- participants do not need to be skilled programmers to work on a project; they can be designers, writers, researchers... you name it.

Anyone can come to the event to work on their own project, or they might be able to work with a student group and help out in some way. We also welcome any visitors who are just curious or who have questions for us.

On top of the hacking, there will be food and soft drinks as well as various games and other fun distractions that hackers might welcome after a few hours of coding!
