The 73-year-old former priest was sentenced to 25 years in jail without parole in response to his guilty plea of five felony sex crimes.  William Thomas Faucher will also have to register as a sex offender. He was arrested last Spring by Boise Police who discovered images of child porn on his home computer, reports the Idaho Statesman.  The case took its toll on the police who investigated Faucher.

Images of slavery, child sex abuse, and other disturbing videos were presented to the judge and courtroom audience.  It was revealed in court that the former priest wanted to get involved in Satanic worship.  The evidence against him was overwhelming.  Despite the pleas from his defense team for parole, the judge gave Foucher 25 years.

A few of the more disturbing actions by Faucher was bragging that he urinated in the wine used for Mass.  There were photo of him peeing on a canon law book and a cross.

The Diocese of Boise told the Idaho Statesman that they would request that the Vatican  defrock the former priest.  Faucher, a Boise native, retired after serving at St. Marys in 2014.

Jan Bennetts, Ada County Prosecutor, praised the decision in a written statement.  " I want to thank the law enforcement officers and forensic evaluators with the Idaho Internet
Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit at the Attorney General’s Office and the Garden City
Police Department who all worked tirelessly to investigate this case. I also want to thank the
Attorney General’s Office for their leadership of the ICAC Unit and their collaboration on this
case. As a result of the hard work of all partners involved, justice has been served."
