Like any good resident of Shondaland would do, I made a pilgrimage to Albertson's on Parkcenter to stock up on wine and popcorn for the return of #TGIT.  I was shocked to see this wine on the end cap!

If you go to the Fifty Shades Wine website, it tells you you that the wine line is only carried in Lewiston, Hayden and Coeur D'Alene but I can now verify that the map is wrong!  My neighborhood Albertson's has both varieties of the movie based wine in stock: Red Satin and White Silk.

The Red Satin is a 2011 vintage and is described as a blend of primarily Petite Sirah and Syrah aged in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barrels.  The White Satin is a 2012 vintage and is a blend of primarily Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. It was fermented cool and aged in stainless steel to keep it's personality.

Both wines retail for $17.99 a bottle online but were cheaper at the grocery store.  I'm not usually a HUGE fan of red wines, but I went for the Red Satin anyway and I can tell you it is fabulous! Another awesome way to get excited for the movie!
