The only love I've ever found on Craigslist was my cat, Piccolo. Yes, while living in Spokane, Washington I jumped online to craigslist one night looking for a pet and found my adorable first born.

I have not, however, ever sought love and romance on Craigslist and it wasn't until recently that I discovered this was actually a big deal for a lot of people! I had no idea so many people had personal ads up on the popular website!

Because of a recently passed Federal Law, Craigslist has decided to remove it's personal ads from its website. The law passed by the Senate, while controversial to some (many saying the law impedes on internet freedoms), carries good intentions.

Titled the "Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act", websites that host certain features (such as Craigslist hosting personal ads) will be held responsible for anything illegal posted within the site that contains content related to sex trafficking. Clearly, this is a bold move from our legislators to close any windows of opportunity for sex trafficking to go on, online. It's because of this risk that Craigslist has decided to remove any chance of liability that could be posted into its personals section.

Have you ever met someone or found love on Craigslist? How do you feel about the change?
