You may have woken up to smoke filled skies because of the fire burning near the Avimor subdivision, but crews have good news about the 300 acre blaze.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the Eagle Fire Department is confident the fire will be contained by tonight and controlled by Thursday evening.  The fire chief tells the Statesman there isn't any current fire activity but temperatures in the 100s could cause flare ups and the containment line hasn't been finished.  They are calling the fire 10% contained.

It spared the five homes threatened when the fire started on Tuesday.  Investigators say the fire was human caused.
