It's a well known fact-- the Boise State Football program is a launchpad for success.  That goes for both players and coaches. Take for example Jay Ajayi who had an unbelievable season with the Miami Dolphins or former Head Coach Chris Petersen who went on to lead the Washington Huskies to the National College Football Playoff.

Another former-Bronco, this time a coach, will be taking on the Head Coach position at Cal, a Pac-12 program. Justin Wilcox spent the past season as Defensive Coordinator (the Badgers finished #7 in the Top 25 after a Cotton Bowl win).  At Boise State, he was on the coaching staff that won the first Fiesta Bowl under Chris Petersen in 2007 and again in 2010.

This coming fall, Wilcox will face off against Petersen as Washington and Cal are in the same Pac-12 division.
