Being a new homeowner, I wouldn't mind getting into gardening. Boise Parks and Recreation is offering a free organic gardening class on February 27th from 6- 8:30p at the Boise Public Library! (I learned after moving here that it is an actual thing to have an exclamation mark at the end of Library! at all of our local branches) on Capitol.

Here's what the event page says on FB:

Get ready for the upcoming growing season with Boise Urban Garden School’s (BUGS) Organic Gardening Class. Topics will include garden planning, plant selection and care, water, and weed and pest management. Leave with the knowledge to grow a successful organic garden, and how you can enjoy the health and personal benefits of cultivating your own food.
These are free classes! No charge for attendance but please register if you plan on attending. Activity Number: 237001-01
