I'm fortunate because my hours in radio allow me to hit the roads during "Off" hours which means I never get stuck in traffic.  Well, today it doesn't much matter when you're on the roads here in Boise.  You're going to hit bad traffic, harsh driving conditions, and crazy lunatics driving too fast, too close, and too aggressive for this kind of weather.

It took me a good 45 minutes to get on to I-84 from downtown Boise and this is at 11 o'clock in the morning.  I must have seen at least 10 different vehicles involved in multiple accidents.  At one point, there was a complete bumper in the middle of my lane causing me to stop on the freeway until I could get over.

I wasn't so worried about my driving.  I'm worried about the crazy people around me.  The implants from California that have never driven in snow before.  Or the people that just think it's no big deal and drive just as reckless as they always do.

With highs in the mid to upper 30's today, the snow should continue and we all know the bad driving will continue.  Please slow down, turn your lights on, drive defensively and don't hit the roads if you don't have to.  I cannot even imagine what go home traffic is going to be like in a few hours.  Good luck!
